Frank Lampard BRUTALLY trolled by Brighton fans with cutting chant as Chelsea embarrassed by Seagulls again

FRANK LAMPARD was brutally trolled by Brighton fans on Saturday.

The stand-in Chelsea boss suffered a third defeat in a row since taking over at Stamford Bridge against the top-four chasing Seagulls.

Frank Lampard was trolled by Brighton fans as Chelsea lost 2-1

Blues legend Lampard was appointed as interim boss following the sacking of Graham Potter – who the Blues pinched from Brighton earlier this season before sacking him after just seven months.

It was hoped the ex-England midfielder could unite a disjointed and bloated squad while making a late push for a European spot.

And there were even dreams of a third Champions League title to transform Todd Boehly’s first season at the helm.

However, Lampard saw his first game against Wolves end in defeat.

And Chelsea’s Euro hopes also look to be over with a 2-0 loss at Real Madrid in the first leg of their quarter final tie.

Fans were hoping to see an improvement on Saturday when Brighton travelled to Stamford Bridge.

The Seagulls battered Chelsea 4-1 earlier this season following the London side’s raid for manager Potter and several coaches.

But Lampard was unable to help the Blues exact revenge as they threw away a lead to lose 2-1.

Brighton were by far the better side, just like they were at the Amex.

And fans were in fine voice as they continued their rise up the table under Roberto De Zerbi.

Indeed, there were several cutting chants aimed at Lampard throughout the game.

At one stage Brighton fans cheekily sang: “You’re getting sacked in the morning.”

And later on, they trolled Lampard by yelling: “You’re just a s*** Graham Potter.”

Fans online were also equally brutal, with one saying: “How’s that feel-good factor now? Ridiculous appointment.”

Another declared: “Lampard the only manager who can make a bad team become worse.”

One added: “Fair play for bringing his Everton form to Chelsea.”
