Fulham manager Marco Silva ready to snub massive Saudi Arabia offer to stay in Premier League

MARCO SILVA’S head will not be turned by a megabucks offer to manage in Saudi Arabia.

The Fulham boss has one-year left on his current deal with a £6million release clause and has been approached by Al-Hilal.

Marco Silva had an extremely successful campaign with Fulham in the league last season

The offer comes in the midst of a summer transfer window filled with speculation around moves to Saudi Arabia.

The 45-year-old also has an offer on the table to extend his stay in West London.

He would rather stay in the Premier League than the Saudi Pro League after securing an impressive tenth place finish last term.

The Cottagers exceeded all expectations in their first season back in the top flight after being promoted from the Championship the season before.

Silva is committed to continuing his vision at Fulham and is preparing for another full season in charge.

The Portuguese boss has been at the helm at Craven Cottage since 2021 after previously managing Everton and Watford.

Saudi Arabia continues to shake up the world of football with Al-Hilal’s statement £47million signing of Silva’s compatriot Ruben Neves earlier this week.

The Saudi Pro League has already snatched up some of European football’s best talents with Cristiano Ronaldo making his move to Al Nassr last January and Karim Benzema signing a huge deal with Al-Ittihad.

SunSport have previously reported the confirmation that N’Golo Kante has also made the move to Saudi Arabia.

The French midfielder has signed for Al-Ittihad from Chelsea on a four-year contract.
