BERND LENO is bearing the brunt of the knives from Arsenal fans after he failed to stop Erling Haaland from putting Man City back to the top of the Premier League.
The ex-Arsenal stopper faced off against the returning Norwegian during injury time of Man City’s clash against Fulham.

Haaland was elated to mark his return with a goal
However, despite getting a hand to the kick he was unable to stop Haaland scoring his 23rd goal of the season as Pep Guardiola’s side overtook The Gunners in first place.
And Arsenal fans were not in a sympathetic mood after the game.
High profile Gooner “Troopz” said: “LENO YOU HAD ONE JOB BRO.”
A second fan said: “Leno is still angering me to this day.”
A third user claimed: “Swear on my life Leno let that in on purpose, just to spite us.”
Another said: “Leno is still bitter that we shipped him off.”
Others believed he should have saved the effort.

”

Following City’s 2-1 win they climb to the top of the league by a point, while Fulham remain relatively safe from their pre-season relegation fears all the way up in eighth.
Arsenal head to Stamford Bridge tomorrow looking to reclaim top spot and carry on their strong momentum against a Chelsea side beset by injuries.
