CRISTIANO RONALDO has reportedly been told by Manchester United he is NOT for sale after his agent held shock talks with Chelsea.

Stunning reports have alleged that the 37-year-old’s representative Jorge Mendes met with new Blues owner Todd Boehly in Portugal last week.

With the Euro 2016 winner having just a year left on his contract, it has been claimed that the West London outfit discussed a potential move for the striker.

Chelsea are in the market for a centre-forward having allowed club-record signing Romelu Lukaku to return to Inter Milan on loan.

There have already been reports that Ronaldo is growing disillusioned at Old Trafford due to the club’s lack of ambition so far.

And according to the Mirror, Erik ten Hag’s side have been left ‘furious’ over the meeting between Mendes and Boehly.

United are said to have let Ronaldo know he will be going nowhere this summer.

They state that new boss Ten Hag is counting on the player and has included him in his plans for next season.

A source told the news outlet: “Cristiano is not for sale.

Bayern Munich have also been linked with the Real Madrid legend as a potential replacement for Barcelona target Robert Lewandowski.

But it appears unlikely that the ex-Sporting ace will be on his way to the Bundesliga.

Roma are another club claimed to be interested as Jose Mourinho looks to nab his Portuguese compatriot from his former employers.

Mourinho would love to make a major statement signing after leading Roma to glory in the inaugural Europa League Conference.

The pair worked together at the Bernabeu where they won the LaLiga title in 2012 and the Copa del Rey the previous year.
