Highest and lowest paid stars per minute at every Prem club as Ozil and Jones rake it in but Williams on just £203-a-min

THE highest and lowest paid Premier League players per minute have been revealed.

BettingOdds conducted a study into how much players in the English top-flight pocketed per 60 seconds during the 2019/20 campaign. 

Yearly salaries by the number of weeks of the season they missed through injury was then divided by their collective earnings during the course of the season by the minutes they played.

No on-loan players were included as well as back-up goalkeepers who did not make five appearances or more. 

For players who left or joined in the January, weeks they weren’t available was also deducted either before or after the winer transfer window.

Manchester United’s Brandon Williams, on £4,000-a-week, played 1,004 league minutes this season meaning he pocketed £203 every 60 seconds.

Phil Jones on the other hand, made £18,333 per min after just 35 minutes played despite taking home £75,000 a week.

Bournemouth keeper Aaron Ramsdale proved the highest value for money, earning £46 per per following 3330 minutes played.

But Everton’s Oumar Niasse was the most costly, taking home £138,947 every min after just 19 played.

Chelsea’s £100,000-a-week striker Michy Batshuayi played only 226 minutes, meaning he collected £23,009 for every 60 seconds.

On the other hand, Fikayo Tomori, who earns £14,423-per-week, cost £491 a minute after 1,293 on the pitch.

Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil pockets £350,000 a week, meaning he took home £9,669 per min for the 1,488 he played.

Rising star Bukayo Saka, on £3,000 a week, proved a bargain for the club costing them £89 per min after 1,753 minutes played.
