How Arsenal will lineup vs Chelsea for FA Cup final with Aubameyang, Lacazette and Pepe up front in full-strength team

MIKEL ARTETA has insisted Arsenal’s supporters deserve the “joy” of an FA Cup win.

The Gunners – who are the most successful team in the competition’s history – will be up against Chelsea.

Here’s how we think the Gunners will start against Chelsea

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored twice as Arsenal booked their spot in the final with a win over Manchester City.

The Gabon international is expected to keep his spot in the starting XI for Saturday’s trip to Wembley.

And this time he could form part of a front-three alongside Alexandre Lacazette and Nicolas Pepe.

Arteta is expected to start with them three leading the line ahead Granit Xhaka and Dani Ceballos.

Hector Bellerin was replaced by Ainsley Maitland-Niles for the win over Watford as he was nursing a minor calf injury.

But the Spaniard, 25, looks set to start this weekend after returning to training this week.

Bukayo Saka has surely done enough to earn his spot on the other side after a string of impressive performances.

At the back, Arsenal could start with Kieran Tierney, David Luiz and Rob Holding.

Emiliano Martinez will keep his spot between the sticks as Bernd Leno is injured.

Former Southampton star Cedric Soares is unavailable as he is cup-tied.

Gabriel Martinelli, Pablo Mari, Shkodran Mustafi and Calum Chambers remain out of action.

After Arsenal finished eighth in the league table, Arteta has called for his players to give the fans what they want.

Speaking to Sky Sports about winning the competition, he said: “It would be absolutely great.

“Everyone’s worked so hard since I joined here to try bring this club back to winning titles so if we can achieve that, I will be delighted.

“But not for myself; for the players and the club that has been through some very difficult moments in the last few seasons.

“And as well for our fans because they really deserve for us to give them some joy and nice moments.”

The Gunners have won both of their previous FA Cup finals against Chelsea – in 2002 and 2017.

But Chelsea will enter the clash with confidence after losing just one of their past 15 FA Cup games.
