How Leeds could line-up after transfer window with Daniel James or Ryan Kent and Michael Cuisance in midfield

LEEDS UNITED have adapted well to the Premier League, picking up six points from their opening three games.

But ever the perfectionist, boss Marcelo Bielsa is still hoping to lure some more top talent to Elland Road.

The Argentine, 65, has already been able to sign experienced internationals in the shape of Robin Koch, Rodrigo and Diego Llorente this summer.

But more could be on the way.

SunSport exclusively revealed on Monday that the Whites WILL sign Daniel James on loan from rivals Manchester United… if the Red Devils find a way to secure Jadon Sancho’s signature from Borussia Dortmund.

But even failing that, Bielsa will get a winger – turning to Rangers star Ryan Kent instead.

And with Bayern Munich wonderkid Michael Cuisance also on the way, Leeds will be shaping up nicely for the rest of the season.

So let’s take a look at how the former Argentina boss could line up all his new stars.

Illan Meslier has been a revelation since stepping in for the disgraced Kiko Casilla between the sticks, and Leeds pounced to make the impressive young stopper’s loan permanent this summer for just £5million from Lorient.

Luke Ayling has been a stalwart for Bielsa at right-back, while the versatile Stuart Dallas remains one of the manager’s favourites after being converted to left-back.

Robin Koch has had a difficult start to life in Yorkshire, giving away two penalties already for his new club.

But the addition of Spanish international Diego Llorente from Real Sociedad for £18m may help to settle the German star.

And if not, captain Liam Cooper could start instead.

Newly-capped England international Kalvin Phillips runs the show in front of the back four, giving Leeds’ other midfielders license to shine.

Michael Cuisance, 21, is expected to arrive from Bayern Munich – and could roam around causing chaos alongside another Bielsa favourite Mateusz Klich.

Should James be signed, he would likely be competing with Helder Costa, himself having signed permanently from Wolves for £15m this summer, on the right flank.

But if they instead go for Kent, the ex-Liverpool youngster may start on the left over loanee Jack Harrison.

Leeds splashed out £27m to acquire Rodrigo from Valencia.

But with Patrick Bamford in red-hot form to start the season, the Spaniard may initially struggle to get a look in.
