How Man Utd and Tottenham will line up for ‘first Premier League game back’ as Rashford, Pogba and Kane return

MANCHESTER UNITED’S trip to Tottenham is set to be the first Premier League game back with all ten matches on TV that weekend.

And the Red Devils trip to Spurs’ new ground will feature at least three huge stars with Marcus Rashford, Paul Pogba and Harry Kane all set to be fit.

Top-flight football in England is pencilled in to restart on Friday June 12 following the coronavirus lockdown.

However, that could be pushed back to Friday June 19 to allay players’ fears about rushing back to soon.

And that night’s game will be shown live on TV along with ALL nine other matches that weekend – on Saturday, Sunday and Monday evening.

The suggestion is that there will be one live match apiece on Friday and Monday evenings.

And the final eight matches will be split equally across Saturday and Sunday, with kick-off times staggered so EVERY match can be watched live on the television.

While the schedule is yet to be chosen, it is expected Man Utd‘s trip to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will get the nod, deemed the biggest game of the weekend.

Kane was out with what looked to be a season ending hamstring injury before lockdown.

But the delay to the campaign has allowed him to recover.

The Spurs striker, 26, went under the knife back in January after being injured in the 1-0 defeat at Southampton on New Year’s Day.

But Jose Mourinho confirmed the England ace was fit again at the end of April.

Harry Kane and Marcus Rashford could both be back for the clash between Man Utd and Spurs

Paul Pogba has recovered from an ankle injury and was pictured training in a park on Tuesday

For United, Pogba had missed most of the season with an ankle injury.

But he was pictured training training in a park on Tuesday alongside Anthony Martial, Victor Lindelof and Andreas Pereira.

The wantaway midfielder had his move away from the club “arranged” before coronavirus struck – but could now continue his career at Old Trafford.

And he looks set for a return to action in North London.

Rashford is still recovering from a back injury he suffered in an FA Cup replay with Wolves in January.

But he is expected to be available by the middle of June which could see him ready to face the North Londoners.

However, the striker’s return to the starting XI may be gradual given it will be around six months after his last outing.
