MANCHESTER UNITED have already qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, which allows Ralf Rangnick to heavily rotate his team.

And the 63-year-old German has CONFIRMED that keeper Dean Henderson and outcast midfielder Donny van de Beek WILL start the match.

Just TWO who started in the 1-0 Premier League win over Crystal Palace could keep their place.

Both Victor Lindelof and Jadon Sancho could start for the Red Devils against Young Boys.

Henderson will be in between the sticks, while Luke Shaw, Eric Bailly and Aaron Wan-Bissaka could make up the rest of the defensive shield.

Nemanja Matic could partner Dutchman Donny van de Beek in the heart of the midfield.

And veteran Juan Mata could be handed a rare start in behind the striker.

Sancho could be joined in attack by academy products Anthony Elanga and Mason Greenwood.

Alternatively, Amad Diallo could come into the front three to hand Sancho a rest.

The trio of Edinson Cavani, Raphael Varane and Anthony Martial have all been ruled out for the game as they continue their recoveries from injury.

Speaking about Cavani and Varane ahead of the match, the Man Utd boss said: “They both cannot play tomorrow but they were part of the traning session today. Edi even yesterday, Rapha it was the first time he was on the pitch with the team.

“If everything goes well I expect them both back in full training next week so from Monday they will be participating in all training sessions.

“They’re both top players. Of course we would be happy to have them on board as soon as possible but, especially with Rapha and his injury record in the past, we need to make sure that we will have him until the end of the season, so it is also about sustainability and not only getting him fit as soon as possible.

“It would be great to have both players available as soon as possible, but obviously for the rest of the season.”

When asked about Martial he then added: “Anthony trained on Saturday and half an hour after he had pain on his knee.

“We had meeting with medical department and we agreed he should try to recover. We need to make sure he reduces pain in next few days and hopefully have him back training next week.”

Rangnick has admitted he would have loved to hand Phil Jones some minutes having not played for almost two years.

After the Palace win, Rangnick said: “It’s perfectly possible we bring some fresh players because the next game is coming up on Saturday, an away game at Norwich.

Diallo could be handed some minutes in United’s frontline with the Prem club already through to the knockouts

“It is possible, we will speak about that tomorrow at Carrington.

“The problem is we can only play players who are in the Champions League list. For example, Phil Jones, whom I would love to give game-time on Wednesday after his long-term injury, unfortunately, he is not on the list, so we have to put our focus on players who will be allowed to play.

“It is possible, I don’t know if we play a completely new 10 players because I don’t know if we have enough players on the list but it’s definitely possible we could play with some new players.”
