How Man Utd will line-up with ‘done deal’ Sancho as Shearer urges Solskjaer to make Kane and Grealish transfers

MANCHESTER UNITED are close to completing the deal to bring wonderkid Jadon Sancho to the club in the summer.

But the Borussia Dortmund winger won’t be the only top talent to be heading to Old Trafford this summer.

Jadon Sancho is expected to agree to a mouthwatering move to Old Trafford

Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is still planning on an overhaul of the playing squad to get the team back to challenging for the title.

And while some of the current crop will be donning the shirt come the start of the 2020/21 season, others will be heading for pastures new.

David De Gea will start between the sticks and the defence has more solidity to it following last summer’s signings of Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Alongside them in the backline should be Victor Lindelof at centre-half and Luke Shaw at left-back.

Eric Bailly and Brandon Williams should challenge that pair for those spots.

And there could be at least another centre-back brought in with Phil Jones and Chris Smalling seemingly heading out.

United fans will be licking their lips at how the rest of the team could line up.

Former England captain Alan Shearer has urged United bosses to go all out to sign Jack Grealish.

If he does join, he could line up in a midfield alongside Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes.

POGBA – IN OR OUT?

Pogba’s future still seems pretty unclear, but if the relationship between him, his agent Mino Raiola and club chiefs heal he could resurrect his Old Trafford career.

Bruno Fernandes has been nothing short of a revelation since joining from Sporting Lisbon in January and is already a crowd favourite.

Prividing the attacking threat alongside new signing Sancho could be Marcus Rashford pushed out on the opposite flank.

That’s because a new man might need accomodating up – Spurs and England captain Harry Kane.

It will be words every Tottenham fan dreads, but Shearer agrees that United really MUST make a move for the prolific frontman.

Odion Ighalo has been brought in from Shanghai Shenhua, but he seems to be a short-term option until a proven goalscorer is signed.

And Kane, with 136 goals in 198 Premier League appearances is just that.

On the prospect of Grealish, Kane and Sancho linking up at United, Shearer said: “Those three are exactly the types they need if they are to compete at the top again.”
