Darwin Nunez is close to completing a move to Liverpool

“Every season I’ve been playing it’s always been a tough battle to win that Golden Boot and it’s no different.
“You expect the top strikers to want to play in the Premier League and like you say with those two new signings that’s going to be the case.
“I think it helps me as a player to have good competition, it drives me as to improve and get better.
“So for sure yeah I look forward to the challenge.”

Haaland netted 29 goals in 30 appearances in the most recent campaign, while Nunez bagged 34 times in 41 games.
Kane himself struck 27 goals in 50 games in all competitions, despite struggling at times in front of goal.
The forward only netted once in the Premier League before December 5.
But the Tottenham talisman is hoping the added competition next season will spur him on to a fourth Golden Boot, which would equal Thierry Henry’s record.
