James Maddison’s milk-drenched Coco Pops and Weetabix breakfast puzzles Leicester team-mates after goal of the month win

LEICESTER CITY star James Maddison loves to tuck into the breakfast of champs – Coco Pops, Weetabix and lashings of milk.

And the star deserves a hearty meal to start the day after picking up two gongs to show he’s a cereal winner.

James Maddison’s Leicester teammates were not too impressed with his choice of breakfast

Foxes ace Maddison is celebrating after grabbing the Premier League’s Goal of the Month for a strike against Man City.

And he has also defeated team-mate Wilfred Ndidi to be crowned the side’s best pool player.

He shared footage of him sinking a long black ball to win the title in a tense match watched by striker Jamie Vardy.

And pal Hamza Choudhury uploaded video of the midfielder drowning his cereal in milk in the club canteen with the question to fans: “Acceptable?”

His incredible finish against City earned him the Premier League’s Goal of the Month for September.

Maddison scored the pick of the goals as Leicester ran riot at the Etihad on September 27, winning 5-2 after an inspiring performance from striker Jamie Vardy.

After Vardy wrapped up his hat-trick, Maddison took centre stage in Manchester – curling home into the top right corner from outside the penalty area, leaving City goalkeeper Ederson with absolutely no chance.

Maddison’s strike put the Foxes 4-1 ahead at the Etihad – and it was his first goal of the 2020-21 Premier League campaign.

Maddison has also become Leicester’s new pool champion

The ace beat fellow midfielder Wilfred Ndidi

He said after collecting the award: “Really nice one for the mantelpiece.

“My first @premierleague goal of the month. Thankyou everyone who voted for my strike vs Man City.”

Aston Villa mate Jack Grealish told him: “Never in doubt.”
