Jurgen Klopp arrives home after dancing night away celebration Liverpool title win with players as bus parade announced

JURGEN KLOPP arrived home exhausted and delighted after dancing the night away celebrating Liverpool’s title triumph.

The Reds were confirmed as champions for the first time in 30 years last night after second-placed Manchester City lost 2-1 at Chelsea.

The German Kop boss and his star-studded squad were together to watch the action unfold at a secret hotel, and it was party time once the final whistle finally blew.

The new kings of the Premier League popped open the corks to crown their glory as thousands of fans poured into the streets of Liverpool to celebrate.

Red flares lit up the sky – and soon they will have chance to do it all again after the city’s council confirmed to the ECHO a title parade will be held.

Although a final date cannot be decided until lockdown restrictions are lifted.

That means a potential parade will not take place this summer and could even be put back until next year.

A spokeswoman said: “We are looking at plans on how a title win can be celebrated fully and would honour the club’s and fan’s ambitions to have a parade – this will only happen when it is safe to do so, lockdown restrictions have eased and the infection rate of the virus has been reduced.”

And Klopp must have been feeling it a little as he arrived home earlier today

Despite that wait, the Liverpool squad and manager did not take long to get their dancing shoes on as they partied long into the night.

Clips and pictures from the victory bash were shared online by players, showing several ecstatic stars and the gaffer giving it some on the dance floor in his shorts and flip flops.

And the likes of Mo Salah, Andrew Robertson and Co. cheered on as Klopp performed a victory jig in the middle of his men.

Despite probably nursing a hangover, the ex-Borussia Dortmund boss was still all smiles as he arrived home this morning in his red Liverpool tracksuit top.

And he might even go for the hair of the dog to keep the party going today with his team not back in action until next Thursday’s trip to Man City.

Meanwhile, cops have joined the council in pleading with Liverpool supporters to respect lockdown measures and social distancing while celebrating the triumph.

Assistant Chief Constable Rob Carden says there would be “an appropriate time” for fans to come together in the city to mark the title.

And it was not only the flares of those who could not contain their joy and went out celebrating last time in Liverpool that painted the town red.

The council has marked the occasion by having landmarks across the city lit up in red.
