KEVIN DE BRUYNE joked media duties stopped him from being able to celebrate Manchester City’s crucial win over Arsenal.
The Belgian playmaker scored twice and provided one assist in the 4-1 victory on Wednesday.

The win put City just two points behind league leaders Arsenal with two games in hand on Mikel Arteta’s side.
And Pep Guardiola’s players celebrated in style after the game.
But De Bruyne confessed “most of the team was gone” by the time he got back to the dressing room following his post-match interviews.
The Belgian, 31, joked that media responsibilities meant he wasn’t able to join the party.
When asked how he celebrated the win, De Bruyne said, via the Daily Star: “To be fair, by doing about 15 interviews when I got back to the dressing room, most of the team was gone.”
Both Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland were seen soaking in the victory in the home dressing room after the game.
While De Bruyne admitted he was absent on this occasion, there is sure to be time for more celebrations before the season is out.
Victory over Arsenal puts City in pole position to win the Premier League title for a FIFTH time in six seasons.
De Bruyne and Co also have an FA Cup final against Manchester United to look forward too, as well as a Champions League semi-final against Real Madrid.
City ace De Bruyne relished the chance to play against league leaders Arsenal – with their tactical set up allowing him freedom to make runs in behind the defence.
He said: “I think we’ve been playing well for months, winning most of the games.
“There is more space in behind with Arsenal as they go to man to man.
“That meant there was more opportunities for me to run into the space and get the ball. I think we created enough chances.
”I just try to play the best football I can. It was fine, picking the right moments to go in behind and I think we really hurt them in that first half on occasions. We could have scored more.”
