LEEDS UNITED fans followed the lead of Newcastle fans by boycotting their clash with Aston Villa on pay per view – and have done a fantastic job for charity.
The generous Whites supporters have made sure 32,000 meals have been distributed to the Leeds United FC food bank.

Leeds’ efforts are thought to have raised £40,000.
Sky Sports and BT Sport have been charging £14.95 for the extra games, outraging supporters.
Magpies fans did a similar protest to help the poor and hungry in the North East ahead of their PPV match with Manchester United a fortnight ago.
There has been a huge backlash over the decision of broadcasting giants to make matches available on PPV platforms.
Sheffield United v Fulham was also on PPV, along with West Brom v Burnley.
Liverpool fans are set to boycott their team’s clash with Sheffield United today, also on PPV.
Reds’ supporters Group the Spirit of Shankly have set up a movement called #CharitynotPPV.
Arsenal fans are calling for a boycott of their match with Leicester tomorrow.
The Foxes were the only club to vote against PPV.
They want fans to donate to local charities including Islington Cares.
The Premier League has revealed which games will be the next batch to be shown live from November 6-21 by broadcasters.
But the PPV schedule was conspicuous by its absence, no doubt trying to avoid fanning the flames of discontent among viewers.
Leeds’ fans efforts were a terrific gesture – but some might regret it after they thrashed an Aston Villa team who could have gone top with a victory after winning all four previous games.
The Villans also had the tightest defence – until Patrick Bamford’s devastating hat-trick in the 3-0 win for United.
