Leicester and Crystal Palace must pay £20m for Noni Madueke with PSV desperate to keep hold of English starlet

NONI MADUEKE has been given a £20million price tag as PSV Eindhoven fight off interest from English clubs.

The London-born attacker, 19, left Tottenham in 2018 after starring in their youth ranks and is now a major player in Holland.

Noni Madueke has won Premier League admirers through his impressive performances for PSV

Madueke has caught the eye of Crystal Palace and Leicester with his displays — but the fee demanded by PSV is too much for his admirers at the moment.

Last season the winger contributed seven goals and six assists in 24 league games, in what was his first full season as a professional.

Madueke helped his club win the first leg of their Champions League qualifier with Galatasaray last week and his value will only rise as that competition progresses.

Palace have short-listed Madueke along with Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson and RB Leipzig’s Ademola Lookman, who would be of interest if they could come on loan.

Patrick Vieira has set about upgrading his defensive options with the arrival of Marc Guehi from Chelsea.

The Eagles are also interested in centre-back Ozan Kabak but could face another battle with Leicester for his signature.

Palace are in need of a big overhaul this summer after letting senior players like Andros Townsend, Gary Cahill and Nathaniel Clyne leave the club.

Meanwhile, Brendan Rodgers has looked to strengthen his squad by purchasing Patson Daka.

The Foxes have also been presented with an opportunity to sign Arsenal pair Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles, but only if James Maddison is included in a swap exchange.
