And City are now just two points from top with as many games in hand.
Fans are now beginning to dream of a historic treble, with City already in the FA Cup final and Champions League semis.
And former City star Lescott could not resist aiming a cheeky dig at ex-Arsenal ace Keown after the final whistle.
The duo were both on punditry duty for BT Sport on Wednesday night.
And before the game they lined up with fellow hosts Lynsey Hipgrave, Rio Ferdinand and Patrick Vieira for a photo.
In the snap, Keown can be seen turning towards Lescott while smiling.
As for the City icon, he himself is captured having a fit of giggles.
And Lescott went some way to explaining the pose while also getting in a cheeky dig at Keown.
He wrote: “Martin said Arsenal were going to win the game.”
Fans were certainly tickled, with one saying: “Once a blue, always a blue.”
