Liverpool have agreed a deal to sell Takumi Minamino to Monaco for double what they paid

The deal is said to be around £13m up front with £2.5m in potential add-ons.

Minamino, 27, has been a cult figure at Anfield despite his limited playing time.

Still, Liverpool will double their money on Minamino, who was bought for around £7.25m from Red Bull Salzburg in January 2020.

The Reds will have a new look frontline next season with Minamino joining Sadio Mane out the exit door.

The Senegalese superstar arrived in Germany on Tuesday to complete his deal to Bayern.

He was pictured in the club’s training kit having completed a medical with an announcement expected imminently.

Jurgen Klopp has already moved to sign replacements for Mane, with Luis Diaz arriving in January and an £85m deal for striker Darwin Nunez announced earlier this month.

Mohamed Salah’s future remains cloudy with the club having offered him a new contract.

The Egyptian is yet to sign and could leave on a free transfer next summer.
