Liverpool Cancels Fabio Carvalho’s Loan at RB Leipzig

Liverpool Cuts Short Carvalho's Loan

Liverpool has made the decision to cancel Fabio Carvalho's loan at RB Leipzig. The Portuguese player, who joined the German club in the summer, has struggled for game time, making only 15 appearances with no goals and just three starts.

Possible Return to Fulham

Due to Carvalho's lack of playing time, Liverpool has decided to end his one-year loan early. According to The Mirror, the winger is now open to returning to Fulham for the remainder of the season. Carvalho previously played for Fulham before signing with Liverpool in May 2022, where he has scored three goals in 21 games.

Liverpool Wants Carvalho to Continue Development

The decision to cancel Carvalho's loan is aimed at allowing him to continue his development on loan for the rest of the season. Liverpool bosses believe that more game time will be beneficial for the young player's progress. It is reported that Carvalho himself is interested in returning to Fulham.

Craven Cottage Boss Keeps Distance

Fulham manager Marco Silva, however, has distanced himself from the possibility of Carvalho returning to his club. When asked about the potential move, Silva stated that it is not his place to discuss it and that the decision lies with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp.

Firmino Linked with Premier League Return

In other news, former Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino is rumored to be considering a return to the Premier League. The Brazilian player has reportedly become frustrated with his current club, Al-Ahli, in Saudi Arabia. According to talkSPORT, Sheffield United is interested in signing Firmino. However, with a change in management at Sheffield United, it remains uncertain if a formal approach will be made.
