Liverpool's Hunt for a Midfielder
Liverpool, fresh off their failed attempt to sign Moises Caicedo, have turned their attention to Nottingham Forest's target Ibrahim Sangare in the search for a new midfielder.
Caicedo's Chelsea Move
Caicedo rejected a move to Anfield in favor of a move to Chelsea, who have now secured the Ecuadorian midfielder for a record-breaking fee of £115m.
Liverpool's Interest in Sangare
Liverpool are now eyeing PSV Eindhoven's Sangare as a potential alternative, according to ex-Manchester City player Kiki Musampa.
Competition for Sangare
Nottingham Forest have also been interested in Sangare, but Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Paris Saint-Germain are all reportedly vying for his signature.
About Sangare
Sangare, a 25-year-old Ivory Coast international, joined PSV from Toulouse in 2020 and has a £32m release clause in his contract.
Forest's Pursuit
Despite Forest still being interested in Sangare, they face stiff competition due to the hefty interest from top European clubs.
