Liverpool Sign Midfielder Wataru Endo for £19m

Liverpool Football Club has officially announced the signing of midfielder Wataru Endo from Stuttgart for a reported fee of £19 million. The 30-year-old Japanese international has signed a four-year contract with the Reds. This signing comes as manager Jurgen Klopp aims to strengthen Liverpool's midfield.

With 133 appearances for Bundesliga side Stuttgart, including 15 goals and 12 assists, Endo brings a wealth of experience to Liverpool's midfield. He was the captain of Stuttgart and also holds the captaincy for the Japanese national team, earning 50 caps.

Endo expressed his anticipation for playing at Anfield, Liverpool's iconic stadium, stating, "It's going to be the first time for me that I play at Anfield. I can't wait to play in front of Liverpool fans."
