MANCHESTER CITY thrashed Arsenal 5-0 on Saturday afternoon to heap more misery on Gunners boss Mikel Arteta.
Goals from Ilkay Gundogan, Gabriel Jesus, Rodri and a brace from Ferran Torres saw off the visitors, who had Granit Xhaka sent off.
Gundogan opened the scoring after just seven minutes before Torres doubled City’s lead just moments later.
Xhaka was sent off for a two-footed challenge in the 35th minute and the hosts took advantage by hammering in another three goals.
