Man City fans claim to spot Harry Kane transfer hint in Jack Grealish announcement with vacant space in dressing room

SOME eagle-eyed Manchester City fans reckon they have spotted a sure-fire sign Harry Kane is on his way to the Etihad.

It came as they noticed a vacant dressing room space in images announcing Jack Grealish’s arrival.

Observant supporters spotted a vacant dressing room spot next to the midfielder

City published several shots of the former Aston Villa ace in their changing room as they announced his £100million arrival.

The midfielder has already gushed about how happy he is to be at the Etihad.

But several fans have already shifted focus to the next potential arrival.

In one shot, Grealish can be seen pointing at his shirt hanging up on a hook.

On the left side is Rodri’s name but to the right a blank space can be seen above an un-allocated spot before Benjamin Mendy’s place becomes visible.

Saleh highlighted it first on Twitter and asked: “Why is there no name here?”

TJ used several of the staring eyes emoji before tweeting: “Who’s that space before Grealish going to be left for?”

And Ian Smith – using the Taylor Swift song ‘Blank Space’ as inspiration – quipped: “Cos I’ve got a blank space, baby, and I’ll write you ‘Kane’.”

KANE IT BE DONE?

Kane, 28, has made clear his desire to leave Spurs this summer and Man City boss Pep Guardiola has confirmed his club’s interest in signing the England captain.

However, unless a deal can be done this week, the forward will be expected to play for the North Londoners AGAINST City.

But they have not been able to agree a price for the striker, which has led to no deal being done.

Kane only returned to Tottenham on Saturday and is now quarantining for five days.

But new Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo – who was due to hold crunch talks with Kane – insists he is still in contention to play the game.

He told Sky Sports: “All the players in the squad are available. It is up to us to consider who is the best options.”

When pressed on whether that includes Kane, he added: “All the players in the squad that work here on a daily basis will be options for us. It is up to us to decide.”
