Man Utd ace Tahith Chong wanted in transfer tussle between Juventus and Inter Milan with 20-year-old in talks over move

INTER MILAN and Juventus are battling it out for Manchester United star Tahith Chong, according to reports in Italy.

And it appears Antonio Conte’s side could have the upper hand in the race for the 20-year-old winger, say Tutto Mercato.

Reports in Italy say Inter are leading the race to sign Chong

They claim that Inter transfer chiefs have already met with the player’s people a “couple” of times.

That has put the club in “pole position” to land Chong – just several days after Ashley Young’s move to the side was confirmed.

But the report goes onto add that Chong is “very interested” in Juventus, where he could of course line up with former United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

Chong is out of contract in the summer and struggling to agree new terms at Old Trafford.

Barcelona are also said to be interested in the Dutch star who began his career at Feyenoord.

Chong has made seven appearances for the United first team this season.

He more regularly features for the club’s reserves despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s willingness to play the youngsters.

SunSport told you earlier this month that Chong was to be offered 35,000-a-week by Juve.

A move to Maurizio Sarri’s side would cost them 2million – a relative snip for a young, promising player.

However, it is understood the Red Devils have not given up on persuading him to stay and sign a new five-year deal.

Solskjaer has already had discussions with Chong privately over his future, but he is still undecided.
