Man Utd ‘being offered Paulo Dybala and Federico Bernardeschi in transfer swap deal for Paul Pogba by Juventus’

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly been offered Juventus duo Paulo Dybala and Federico Bernardeschi in exchange for Paul Pogba.

Juventus are eager to bring Pogba back to Turin in the wake of agent Mino Raiola claiming “that it’s over” for his client at Old Trafford.

Paul Pogba’s not enjoyed the best of seasons with Manchester United

A January transfer is unlikely, however, with the Serie A giants hoping to land a deal at the end of the season.

According to ESPN, Juventus bigwigs will struggle to meet United’s asking price so a couple of players will be thrown into the mix.

It’s claimed Ed Woodward and co have been informed via intermediaries that Dybala and Bernardeschi would be up for grabs if Pogba was allowed to depart.

United are eager to extract maximum value for the French midfielder, who has 18 months left to run on his contract, despite Raiola insisting an exit is on the cards.

Paulo Dybala’s future at Juventus is uncertain

Federico Bernardeschi is on the fringes at Juventus

After admitting Pogba is “unhappy”, Raiola clarified a potential transfer timeline when he said: “I should have said summer.

“It’s hard for great players to move in January. We’ll see what happens in the summer. The world has changed a lot.

“In England they’re very sensitive when you speak about Pogba.

“I expressed what I think, my opinion. Nothing sensational. I think that’s clear.”

United have previous interest in Dybala, although Ole Gunnar Solskjaer axed a potential move in 2019 due to concerns over the player’s desire to quit Juventus.

But Dybala’s future with the Old Lady is uncertain after last week shooting down reports of talks over a contract extension.

With 18 months left to run on his current terms, he said: “My agent was in Turin for a long time and was never called by the club. It disappoints me to hear talk of invested financial figures.

“It would be better if the truth could be told, because talking about those aspects in this period pits the fans against me.”

Bernardeschi’s contract also expires in the summer of 2022, and he has found himself on the fringes of Andrea Pirlo’s set-up.

A new right winger is on United’s transfer agenda so the 26-year-old could fit the bill, although Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho is a major long-term target for Solskjaer.
