Man Utd fans in hysterics with Bruno Fernandes ‘total s***housery’ to time-waste at end of incredible Liverpool win

MANCHESTER UNITED fans showered praise on Bruno Fernandes for timewasting against Liverpool.

Fernandes, 27, delayed the game after Liverpool pulled a goal back in United’s 2-1 win at Old Trafford.

Fernandes then feigned injury after Salah picked the ball up

After Salah found the net with a header Fernandes was the first to pick up the ball and the midfielder refused to hand it to the Egyptian.

Salah tried desperately to grab the ball but Fernandes palmed him away, indicating he would return the ball to the centre circle.

Fernandes was lucky to escape a second yellow card having already been booked for diving as referee Michael Oliver instead pushed Salah away.

But an irate Roberto Firmino then got involved and managed to hit the ball out of Fernandes’ grasp.

Salah then battled Fernandes for the ball on the floor and when he got control the Portuguese feigned injury – claiming the Reds star had poked him in the eye.

United fans loved Fernandes’ behaviour and praised him on social media.

One supporter wrote: “Very funny
?. What’s Bruno thinking.”

Another added: “I love this kind of s***housery
?.”

And a third said: “Total s***housery.”

Jurgen Klopp confronted Fernandes on the pitch after the full-time whistle in what seemed to be a passion-filled exchange.

But Klopp insists their conversation was harmless, although they had a disagreement over new United signing Lisandro Martinez’s reaction to a challenge.

The Reds boss explained in his post-match interview: “It was not animated it was the most harmless conversation I ever had with a player, who was obviously as emotional as I was.

“It was the situation with Martinez, who went down under an ‘awful’ tackle that was obviously nothing.

“He [Fernandes] made a bit of it, he was talking to me and saying, ‘you’d do the same’.”
