Man Utd fans suggest Dean Henderson go to Borussia Dortmund as part of Jadon Sancho swap transfer as Chelsea eye Burki

MANCHESTER UNITED fans believe Dean Henderson could prove pivotal in bringing Borussia Dortmund winger Jadson Sancho to Old Trafford.

It is no secret that the Red Devils are desperate to bring the BVB forward back to England, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer understood to be a huge fan of the player.

Man Utd fans wants Dean Henderson to go on loan to Borusia Dortmund in exchange for Jadon Sancho

Sancho has once again starred in Germany this season – chipping in with 17 goals and 20 assists in 38 games in all competitions.

Dortmund’s asking price is believed to be around £100million, but due to the coronavirus crisis, it is unlikely that United will be able to match their demands.

As a result it has been suggested that United could offed Dortmund players in exchange for Sancho, with Alexis Sanchez one player linked with a move to the Bundesliga.

But United supporters state that goalkeeper Henderson – currently on loan at Sheffield United – would be a perfect fit for BVB.

Dortmund’s current No1 between the sticks Roman Burki has been plagued by inconsistent performances this campaign.

And he could be on his way out of Germany at the end of the season with Chelsea lining up a shock £15m move for the Switzerland international.

SON OF A GUN

Should he leave, United fans have claimed that Henderson would be the perfect replacement, with the Old Trafford faithful keen for him to go back out on loan with David De Gea still Solskjaer’s preferred choice.

Taking to Twitter to voice his views, United fan Josh said: “Roman Bürki is so suspect for Dortmund [joint most goals conceded in top six + worst save % this season].

“Throw Dean Henderson on loan in the Jadon Sancho deal.”

Supporters were quick to get on board with the idea, as one commented: “Whoa totally back this deal! Well said, Josh!”

Another messaged: “The work culture for football in Germany would help him a lot, plus he would get experience playing for a big club with high expectations, something he will not get at Sheffield.”

A third added: “I like this idea if he’s not going to be first choice.”

One simply stated: “You….you may be onto something here.”

Henderson has established himself as one of England’s top shot-stoppers during his loan with the Blades, with the 23-year-old keeping ten clean sheets in 27 Premier League games this term.
