Man Utd leading Jadon Sancho transfer race from Chelsea with record-breaking £100m fee and £200k-a-week deal

MANCHESTER UNITED are leading the race to sign Jadon Sancho in a Premier League record £100million deal this summer, according to reports.

England star Sancho will be allowed to leave Borussia Dortmund at the end of the season.

Sancho would be a Premier League record £100m buy for Man Utd

And The Telegraph add that he will definitely cost more than the £89m United paid for Paul Pogba four years ago.

Sancho, 19, is in the process of agreeing personal terms worth around £200,000 a week.

He has 14 goals and 14 assists in the Bundesliga this season and is being closely monitored by all of Europe’s top clubs.

But according to Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc, Sancho’s old club Manchester City have “matching rights” when a bid goes in.

And with the future of Leroy Sane up in the air, it is thought Sancho could be a like-for-like replacement with the German.

The Telegraph add that Liverpool are also looking at Sancho, who has spent three seasons in Germany since leaving the City academy.

But they are thought to be more interested in RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner.

Recent reports have claimed they are ahead of Chelsea in efforts to land the £51m-rated German international in the summer.

With United in pole position, it is claimed only a “dramatic” move from one of their rivals would stop Sancho moving to Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks like he is about to embark on a massive summer spending spree.

The Red Devils are ready to offer Aston Villa’s Jack Grealish £150,000 a week – tripling his current pay packet.

United have also been linked with a £20million move for Gent striker Jonathan David.

But Sancho, for his part, has kept quiet on the transfer talk.

When quizzed on a potential move, he said: “I don’t really look at all them things.

“I just concentrate on my team and take it game by game.

“That’s the most important thing for me now.”
