Man Utd legend Roy Keane thrills fans as he finally joins Instagram… and posts a selfie with his dog

Manchester United legend Roy Keane posted this snap on Instagram

Just days after being left disgusted after being shown a video by Micah Richards of Keane’s FIFA 21 character dancing, the ex-midfielder has decided to take the plunge and create an Instagram account.

And dog-loving Keane decided to mark his first post by showing his affectionate side as he uploaded a snap of himself and his pooch.

Captioning the image, he said: “A man’s best friend.”

His Sky Sports colleague Richards immediately commented on the post as he expressed his delight, messaging, “He’s here,” followed by a number of laughing face emojis.

Sky’s Super Sunday and Monday Night Football host David Jones quipped: “Welcome … this could be interesting.”

Keane’s former United team-mate Andy Cole added: “Love it skip.”

Jamie Carragher reacted to the news by simply tweeting the eyes emoji.

Ian Wright also welcomed Keane to Instagram by uploading a picture of the two together.

He captioned his upload: “My dear friend has finally joined the Instagram madness @officialkeane16.”

In true Keane fashion, the no-nonsense talking pundit follows no-one on the social media platform.

Meanwhile his profile picture shows him smiling from when he was a child.

Keane also cracked out a rare smirk during Liverpool’s defeat against Manchester City last week as Richards teased Reds icon Graeme Souness during the match.
