The Manchester United and England legend has decided to complete his coaching badges in the next few months and further his education in football.

Rooney shocked Derby’s potential owner David Clowes on Friday by walking away after a horror season of fighting administration problems.
Speculation was immediate that the former striker had a club lined up — but instead his plan is to work on his coaching knowledge.
Rooney’s Rams put up a brave fight against relegation from the Championship despite being deducted 21 points — only to eventually finish second bottom.
Rooney, 36, is halfway through a Pro Licence course and recently went to Toulon for the Under-20 tournament as part of his training.

He now plans to visit top clubs at home and abroad to learn more and is also to enrol in the LMA management course.
His loyalty to would-be Derby buyer Chris Kirchner kept him committed to the Rams — but when the American failed to deliver his cash it came as a hammer blow.
Rooney took it badly and after looking at the prospect of building a squad from scratch, with Clowes still to complete his deal, a summit ended in his resignation.
Now Rooney’s assistant Liam Rosenior will take the helm, as Clowes and administrators Quantuma focus on getting their rescue package accepted by the EFL.

League chiefs will demand Derby start the season with kids if that is what it takes.
And Rosenior will step into the unknown when he takes charge of their depleted squad tomorrow.
The remnants of the Rams’ playing staff are due back to their Moor Farm training ground — with just FIVE registered senior pros still at the club.
Derby’s opening League One fixture against Oxford United is on July 30.
Former Fulham and Hull star Rosenior, 37, will be assisted by first-team coach Jake Buxton.

Rosenior, who was recently linked with the Blackpool job, is odds-on favourite ahead of Sean Dyche to permanently replace Rooney at Rams.
However, with a decision yet to be made over Clowes’ takeover bid, the club remains in limbo.
