Man Utd offer Dean Henderson a bumper new deal worth over £100k a week to ward off Chelsea transfer interest

MANCHESTER UNITED are offering Dean Henderson a new deal to keep him out of Chelsea’s clutches.

United want to give England hopeful Henderson a pay rise to over £100,000-a-week – his FOURTH contract without ever starting for the club.

Man Utd will offer Dean Henderson £100k-a-week to snub Chelsea

The talks are scheduled after United showed their plans last week as they react to interest from Frank Lampard in the keeper starring on loan at Sheffield United.

United see Henderson as THEIR number one down the line and do not want to cash in on him now.

Chelsea would go around £50million for him.

And with David De Gea not at his best this season, United have been reminded that they have to keep their hooks in Henderson.

The keeper is already under contract for two more years and would have to commit for at least one more.

United would let Henderson decide on his future next season too.

He can stay and compete for a start, or go back out on loan.

Sheffield United are keen to have him for a third season on loan.

They would bid to buy but know a loan is the more likely way of landing their man.
