NEWCASTLE are interested in signing Manchester United star Scott McTominay, according to reports.
The midfielder has been a regular for the Red Devils during the last three seasons.

Erik ten Hag’s pursuit of Frenkie de Jong from Barcelona could throw his future into doubt, however, with the Scot having admirers around the Premier League.
According to The Times, Newcastle have made an enquiry regarding McTominay’s availability.
Eddie Howe’s side are keen to bolster their midfield options alongside January arrival Bruno Guimaraes.
A second unnamed club have also reportedly contacted United to ask about McTominay.

No deal is imminent, however, with Ten Hag maintaining that the Scot is a “pivotal” player for him.
While De Jong appears set to arrive from Barca, United have seen a string of midfielders leave the club already this summer.
Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Jesse Lingard and Juan Mata have all departed on free transfers.
Ten Hag, 52, held his first pre-season training session on Monday and was well short of midfielders to work with.

Only Donny van de Beek could be seen as a senior option in the position of those in attendance, with a group of youngsters joining the session.
McTominay, 25, is still on holiday after his exertions with Scotland last month.
But he has been keeping in excellent shape ahead of his return to pre-season.
Speaking to Sky Sports last month, McTominay said: “Your time to switch off is your holidays with your families.
“But even then I’m thinking ‘I need to train and do something to make sure I’m in peak condition for the new coach’.
“You never switch off, not even when you’re on holiday. It’s not just a case of going wherever with your family.

“You are still thinking of coming back and having the best possible impact on the new coach. The other players will be the same, football is your life and when it’s not going so well, it’s tough.”
McTominay has made 170 appearances for Man United since debuting in 2017.
