MANCHESTER UNITED stars have combined to scored the most goals for England thanks to the likes of Sir Bobby Charlton, Wayne Rooney and Marcus Rashford.

Rooney overtook Charlton’s tally of 49 goals to become the Three Lions’ all-time leading scorer in 2015.

And the former Everton man, who scored the majority of his England goals while at United, went on to score 53 times for his country.

All in all, Man Utd players have combined for an incredibly 241 goals for the Three Lions – more than any other club.

Tottenham rank second with 237 goals, thanks to the likes of third and fourth top England scorers Jimmy Greaves and Gary Lineker.

Harry Kane, now sixth on the list after an incredible Euro 2020 qualifying campaign – scoring in every match for a total of 12 goals – is another Spurs player to contribute, with 32 goals in total.

Liverpool (157) sit third on the list of top contributors for England, with Michael Owen (40) fifth all time.

Kevin Keegan and Steven Gerrard sit level in 19th place with 21 strikes apiece, with Peter Crouch – who enjoyed a spell at the Reds in his career – scoring 22 times one spot above them.

Chelsea (134) rank fourth, with Vivian Woodward and Frank Lampard top contributors with 29 goals each.

Arsenal come in fifth with 92 goals, narrowly ahead of Everton (87), Aston Villa (86) and Manchester City (85).

West Ham (68) and Derby (64) complete the top ten highest goal contributors for England.

Geoff Hurst, a 1966 World Cup winner, was the Hammers’ biggest help with 24 goals, while Steve Bloomer scored 28 goals for England in just 23 games while at Derby.
