The semi-finals will be two-legged affairs, with Forest and Saints respectively playing host to United and Newcastle first.

The first leg-leg matches will take place in the week commencing January 23.

The reverse fixtures will take place the following week, commencing January 30.

The final will take place at Wembley on Sunday, February 26.

High-flying Newcastle booked their place in the semis with a 2-0 win over Leicester on Tuesday night.

The victory at St James’ Park fired the Magpies to their first cup semi-final in 18 years.

Liverpool are still the current holders of the trophy, which Premier League title-chasing Man City deprived them of winning last month.
