Manchester City ‘willing to listen to offers’ for Raheem Sterling this summer in transfer bombshell

RAHEEM STERLING leads a shock list of Manchester City stars reportedly up for sale this summer.

The England winger, 26, has won three Premier League titles in six years at the Etihad but has fallen out of favour in recent weeks.

Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez could both leave Manchester City

Saturday’s Champions League final is likely to start with him on the bench having played only ten minutes over the last two rounds.

According to the Mail, City are willing to listen to offers for Sterling in a bid to fund Pep Guardiola’s transfer wishlist.

Jack Grealish and Harry Kane have both been strongly linked with the English champions yet the pair could cost £300million.

Real Madrid, Barcelona and Arsenal are all named as being interested in Sterling.

And he may not be the only big name potentially shipped out of a club which has seldom sold its top talent in recent years.

Also being considered for summer sales are said to be Riyad Mahrez, Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE SPECIAL 40/1 FOR PHIL FODEN TO HAVE A SHOT ON TARGET

Laporte, set for a Euro 2020 outing with Spain, has dropped out of favour amid the rise of Ruben Dias and John Stones’ partnership.

While Jesus has struggled to make hay on the decline of Sergio Aguero.

The Argentine, and perhaps club captain Fernandinho, will leave after Saturday’s final with Chelsea, beginning what could be a squad refresh this summer for City.

Boss Guardiola stated in April that the likes of Sterling must do more to earn game time, particularly with Phil Foden continuing to break out.

Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus are also reportedly vulnerable

He said: “He has to have [confidence], he has it from all of us because the quality is there.

“I cannot give the players confidence, they have to have it for themselves. For me give confidence is to select. This is the opposite.

“Raz has a lot of experience, what we’ve done these incredible years, with us breaking I don’t how many records.

“In the future these will be broken but Raheem was key and was a key player. But in that moment Phil is playing really good and Riyad is playing really good. That is the only reason why and they know it.”
