Manchester United Reveals 25-Man Premier League Squad for Season

Manchester United has officially announced the players included in their 25-man Premier League squad for the upcoming season. The decision by manager Erik ten Hag includes both Jadon Sancho and Antony, despite the recent controversy surrounding them.

Sancho Returns to the Squad

Amidst a public feud with his manager, former Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho has been included in Manchester United's Premier League squad for the season. Sancho recently accused ten Hag of unfairly singling him out, but it seems this has not affected his place in the team.

Antony Takes Time Away

On the other hand, Antony will be taking a break from the team following allegations made against him. The Brazilian star is denying any wrongdoing, but the club has decided to give him time away from the team until further notice.

New Signings and Young Talents

Among the new signings, Rasmus Hojlund will not be part of the 25-man squad as he is under the age of 21 and does not have to be listed. However, Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir, Jonny Evans, Sofyan Amrabat, and Sergio Reguilon have all made the cut.

Hannibal Mejbri, Amad Diallo, and Kobbie Mainoo, who are all under the age threshold, are expected to push for starts this season.

Surprise Inclusions

A notable surprise in the squad is Donny van de Beek, who failed to secure a transfer away from the club during the summer. Despite limited playing time last season, he has been deemed worthy of a place in the Premier League squad.

January Window – No Changes Allowed

It is important to note that the Premier League squad cannot be changed until the end of the January transfer window. Additionally, the team can have a maximum of 17 non-homegrown players registered.

Stay tuned as the Premier League season kicks off to see how these players will perform for Manchester United!
