Micah Richards leaves CBS studio in stitches after revealing the ‘funniest thing an opponent ever said to him’

MICAH RICHARDS left Thierry Henry and Jamie Carragher in fits of laughter after revealing the funniest thing an opponent said to him during his playing career.

The former Manchester City defender was alongside the Arsenal and Liverpool legends for CBS’ Champions League coverage on Tuesday night.

Richards produced a hilarious impression of Dempsey

The panel were left in stitches by Richards’ Dempsey impersonation

And the panel were quizzed by presenter Kate Abdo as to what was the strangest thing an opposition player ever said to them on the pitch.

When the question was posed to them, Richards hilariously replied in an American accent: “You don’t know where I’m from, dog!”

He then explained: “Clint Dempsey said that to me when he was at Fulham.

“I tackled him and he pushed me and I said ‘don’t push me’.

“He said ‘you don’t know where I’m from, dog’. I was like, really? Really?”

Carragher then went on to explain how George Weir once turned him around to see what name was on the back of his sheet.

And Henry did not have a specific memory, but insisted he always found it funny when players asked for his shirt DURING the match.

Later on in the segment, Richards went on to leave the panel in stitches yet again.

Abdo asked the three former players what they would have been if they had not made it as a footballer.

To which Richards immediately replied: “Model.”

A baffled Henry then asked Richards: “What were you going to be a model for?”

Carragher then suggested ‘balaclavas’, before Henry offered the idea of ‘helmets’.
