Mo Salah open to Liverpool transfer exit to Spain amid Real Madrid links as he describes Klopp relationship as ‘normal’

MO SALAH has failed to give reassurances that his future belongs at Liverpool.

The Egyptian superstar, 28, has been linked with high-profile moves to both Real Madrid and Barcelona with hints he is looking for a new challenge.

Salah failed to commit his future in an interview with Marca

Liverpool’s disastrous title defence, which sees them struggling to qualify for a top four finish, is fuelling speculation of Salah’s morale at the club.

His frustration was laid bare when he was hooked off after 62 minutes in a defeat against Chelsea at the beginning of March.

Salah still has two years left on his contract at Anfield but admitted the future ‘is not up to him.’

When asked whether he sees himself at another club after four years at Liverpool, he told Marca: “It is not up to me. We’ll see what happens but I prefer not to talk about this now.”

And he’ll certainly prick the ears of the two Spanish giants after admitting he’d be open to playing in LaLiga.

Salah added: “I hope I can play football for many, many years.

“Why not? Nobody knows what will happen in the future, so… Maybe one day.”

The winger, who has scored 17 league goals this season, was also asked on his relationship with manager Jurgen Klopp.

He bluntly answered back: “It is a normal relationship between two professionals.”

The Egyptian remained coy on his relationship with Jurgen Klopp

Arsenal have the easiest run-in based on the league position of their final nine opponents

But he appeared a lot more enthusiastic when asked on his thoughts of ‘idol’ Zinedine Zidane.

Describing the Real Madrid manager, Salah said: “He is a great coach, he has won three Champions, he is doing very well with the team.

“He left and came back to help the team win titles again. He was one of my idols when I was little. As a coach he is doing great.”
