Neville feels Keane’s ‘wrath’ for knocking his coffee over in wild celebrations after England’s Euro 2020 goal vs Italy

BBC and ITV pundits were both send wild after Luke Shaw’s goal against Italy gave England the lead in the Euro 2020 final.

Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer jumped around in jubilation on the Beeb but Roy Keane was hilariously more preoccupied with not spilling the tea.

Manchester United star Shaw then gave the whole country a reason to break into song as he scored just minutes against Italy.

The left-back got England off to the perfect start in the Euro 2020 final with a goal on the eve of his 26th birthday.

Match of the Day host Lineker, Shearer, and Rio Ferdinand were both sent into raptures as Wembley exploded.

But over on rivals ITV, hardman Keane jokingly admitted he was furious that his former teammate Gary Neville spilled his drink.

Watching the scenes back, Mark Pougatch said: “Roy making sure that the tea doesn’t go everywhere”

Keane laughed as he replied: “Gary destroyed my notes!”

Neville commented: “I spent the next 20 minutes getting the wrath of him for knocking his coffee over.”

Keane added: “I’m a team player, obviously.”

And it wasn’t just fans in the stadium that enjoyed the scenes as supporters shared their delight on social media

One wrote: Roy Keane going for the tea and coffee was comedy!”, while another said: “Roy Keane saving the team tea. True Captain.”

A third added: “You don’t want to be the one knocking Roy Keane’s tea over.”

Shaw’s goal was cancelled out by Leonardo Bonucci’s second-half equaliser.
