Nicklas Bendtner’s girlfriend has revealed why the ex-Arsenal star is happy to put his football career behind him … by posting a naked selfie.
Danish international Bendtner has not played since hometown club FC Copenhagen released him 14 months ago.
However the 33-year-old’s Wag Philine Roepstorff is making impressive strides with her own career as a model, fashion designer and influencer.
And she took to social media to seemingly protest about proposed legal changes to her work sphere in Denmark.
Philine wrote: “The consumer ombudsman apparently promises fines to everyone who is wearing clothes that they bought and paid for.
“Sooo … I can unfortunately not post pictures with clothes on any more.”
The leggy brunette posted an accompanying picture of herself completely naked, with her back to the camera.
The Copenhagen-born beauty sports an impressive deep tan, broken only by having worn the skimpiest of bikini bottoms.
Philine and her footballer boyfriend last year starred in the Danish reality TV show Bendtner & Philine.
Bendtner has recently voiced his intention to take coaching courses as he aims to manage a club in Denmark’s Superliga.
He spent nine years with Arsenal, scoring 45 goals in 171 games.
The towering frontman has also played for Birmingham City, Sunderland, Nottingham Forest, Juventus, Wolfsburg and Rosenborg.
