Forest Out to Secure Matheus Nascimento
Nottingham Forest has their eyes set on Brazilian talent, Matheus Nascimento, in a £15 million deal. While Crystal Palace had begun negotiations, Forest remains the frontrunner in this race.
A Loan to Olympiacos in the Works
Forest's owner, Evangelos Marinakis, has further plans for Nascimento. He intends to loan the striker to Olympiacos, a Greek team he also owns. However, this arrangement may change if Nascimento insists on featuring in Forest's Premier League squad straight away.
Talent and Promise
At just 19 years old, Nascimento has shown great promise, scoring nine goals in 72 career appearances. Notably, he made his senior debut at the age of 16, making him the youngest player in the club's history to feature in the first team. He has also been capped three times by the Brazil Under-20s.
Deal on the Horizon for Joe Worrall
Nottingham Forest is close to securing a three-year deal with their captain, Joe Worrall. The 26-year-old centre-back's current contract is set to expire next summer.
