MESUT OZILs social media post taking a dig at Emery has been liked by eight Arsenal team-mates.
Misfit midfielder Ozil posted a picture on his Instagram and Twitter with the caption: You make me laugh
Its not clear who the post is directed at, though a popular theory among fans is it was indirectly aimed at Gunners manager Unai Emery.
The pair were captured seemingly having an intense chat during a training session, that comes three days after the German was left out of Arsenal’s losing side against Sheffield United.
Fans claim the post was mocking Emerys decision to leave Ozil out of the match-day squad, and as pointed out by one Twitter user, the midfielder has the backing of his team-mates.
Skipper Granit Xhaka and star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang were among those who “liked” the cryptic post.
And they were joined by Alexandre Lacazette, Shkodran Mustafi, Ainsley Maitland-Niles, Sead Kolasinac, Rob Holding and James Olayinka who also liked the post.
But what seems like a backing of the Arsenal players union, could be mistaken for Ozils team-mates simply scrolling through a pic of their colleague and blindly liking the post.
Ozil has been frozen out of the squad by Emery this season after failing to live up to expectations in north London.

The Spanish manager has urged him to prove that he still deserves regular action in Arsenal’s first-team.
But the frustrated midfielder has insisted he has been made the scapegoat for Arsenal when they underachieve.
And he hit back at Emery and Raul Sanllehi’s claims that is not pushing himself hard enough in training.
