Paul Pogba could seal emotional Juventus transfer return from Man Utd but Serie A giants must sell to free up wages

THE Paul Pogba transfer saga could reach its conclusion with a return to Juventus.

The Manchester United star left the Serie A giants for Old Trafford in 2016 for a then-world record fee of £89million.

Paul Pogba has been out with injury and suspension this season

The move marked a return to the club Pogba joined as a youngster from Le Havre seven years earlier.

But reports suggest the France international could be heading back to Italy as he runs down his United contract.

The 28-year-old has been the subject of constant speculation about his future as he stalls on signing a new deal.

Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have at times been seen as frontrunners to land his signature.

But now Tuttosport suggests Turin is his most likely destination.

Any contract offer will rely on Juve offloading at least two players in the next six months.

And Leeds are thought to be plotting a raid for midfielder Weston McKennie as they battle for Prem survival.
