Premier League announces rearranged matches for September and October with Arsenal clash moved on just TWO WEEKS notice

Arsenal vs Everton

Arsenal's match with Everton has been unexpectedly rescheduled by the Premier League, giving the teams just two weeks' notice. Originally scheduled for Saturday September 16, the clash between Arsenal and Everton has now been pushed forward a day. Eddie Howe’s side will take on the Gunners in a tea-time Saturday kick-off.

Newcastle vs Brentford

Newcastle's game against Brentford has also been moved forward a day due to their upcoming Champions League match against AC Milan. The initial plan was for a televised Sunday game on September 17 at 4:30pm, but the match will now take place on Saturday September 16, with Arsenal now filling the Sunday slot.

Aston Villa's rearranged matches

Aston Villa's involvement in the Europa Conference League has caused several changes to their fixture list. Their visit to Chelsea has been postponed to a day later on September 24 to accommodate their game against Legia Warsaw. Additionally, their clash with Wolves has been rescheduled to take place on Sunday, October 8. Aston Villa vs Luton has also been moved to a Sunday and will kick off at 2pm.

Manchester United's fixture change

Manchester United's Champions League commitments have resulted in a change to their fixture list. Sky Sports has selected their game against Sheffield United for live TV coverage, but it can no longer take place on Sunday due to their upcoming match against Copenhagen. The new date for Man United's clash with the Blades is Saturday, October 21 at 8pm.

The Premier League has moved a total of six matches so far, with more changes expected in the coming months.
