Premier League Star’s Car Windscreen Smashed by Team-Mate in Incredible Coincidence

Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney had a stroke of bad luck during training when his car windscreen was smashed by a stray shot. This was not the first time it had happened, as Cairney experienced the exact same damage a year ago. Upon sharing pictures of the damage on Instagram, Cairney initially blamed Carlos Vinicius, but later realized that Rodrigo Muniz was the true culprit. Cairney's previous car window mishap was caused by Aleksandar Mitrovic, who showed no remorse at the time.

Repeat Incident

Last week, during a training session, Tom Cairney's car windscreen was smashed by a wayward shot. The Fulham midfielder took to Instagram to showcase the damage, expressing his frustration and jokingly commenting on the poor shooting abilities of his fellow players. However, this was not the first time Cairney had suffered such an incident.

Previous Windscreen Damage

Cairney shared that exactly one year ago, his car windscreen was also smashed by a stray strike. On that occasion, it was Aleksandar Mitrovic who delivered the off-target shot. Mitrovic, who has since left Fulham, infamously posed for a selfie in front of the broken window and sent it to the team's group chat.

Identifying the Culprit

Initially, Cairney pointed the blame at Carlos Vinicius for the recent windscreen mishap. However, he quickly realized his mistake and clarified that it was Rodrigo Muniz who had actually caused the damage. Cairney apologized to Vinicius via Instagram for the mix-up.

Implications for Mitrovic

In the aftermath of the incident, it became clear that there were already strained relations between Mitrovic and the club. The striker had forced his way out of Fulham and joined the Saudi Pro League side Al-Hilal in a £43 million transfer. Mitrovic had vowed never to play for Fulham again after his initial transfer bid was rejected by the club. Manager Marco Silva expressed his disappointment with Mitrovic's behavior, calling it abnormal and stating that football players should not act in such a manner.

All in all, it seems that Cairney's unfortunate car windscreen incidents have highlighted the tensions and controversies surrounding the Fulham team as a whole.
