The number-crunching machine for OLBG has got United down to finish sixth and an outside bet of 11/4 to scrape into the top four.
That places them in the second Europa League spot behind Arsenal and just one position above Newcastle who get into the Europa Conference League.
Ten Hag admitted he has a “hell of a job” on his hands after the home defeat to Brighton on the opening weekend of the new season.
And his side face a brutal run of fixtures at Old Trafford which includes Liverpool and Arsenal in their next two games.
There is a familiar feeling to the top of the table, though.

But at the bottom end of the table – it is bad news for two of the three promoted sides.
Bournemouth are 4/6 to be relegated and therefore are expected to be bottom come the end of May despite their opening-day victory.
Nottingham Forest are 11/10 to join them with Southampton 7/4 to also face the drop.
That would mean Fulham (2/1 to be relegated) end five successive years of yo-yoing between the Premier League and the Championship.
Leeds (11/4 to be relegated), Everton (3/1) and Brentford (5/2) could well be safe despite some pre-season relegation fears for all three clubs.
