Real Madrid target Paul Pogba had transfer out of Man Utd ‘arranged’ before coronavirus put plans on hold, say reports

PAUL POGBA had his summer move away from Manchester United “arranged” before coronavirus put plans on hold.

Clubs have had to tighten the purse strings due to the pandemic – which has left his dream move to Real Madrid on the rocks.

Paul Pogba has made just seven Premier League appearances this season

According to AS, Pogba had reached an agreement with his club that he would leave in the summer.

The wantaway midfielder had everything in place – until the Covid-19 crisis left the sporting world at a standstill.

Clubs across the world are facing financial difficulties due to the lack of matchday income and TV earnings.

As a result, Pogba’s move away from Old Trafford at the end of the season is in serious doubt.

Real Madrid’s move for him has stalled as the Spanish side cannot meet his huge wage demands.

Pogba, who has made just seven league appearances this season, pockets £290,000-per-week with United.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are now in talks with Juventus over a swap deal including Pogba and Aaron Ramsey.

Inter Milan and French giants Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked to the French World Cup winner.

Manchester United are still hoping to offload the midfielder in the summer despite the current circumstances.

But Solskjaer’s will now demand £100million after knocking £50m off his asking price.
