REAL MADRID are targeting four free transfers this summer including Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea star Antonio Rudiger.
It is a policy Los Blancos adopted last summer when they signed former Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
With no transfer fee Real were able to spend big on his £400,000 salary and could do the same again with Rudiger.
The German is said to be demanding a huge wage hike to stay at Chelsea but Real are willing to make him their highest-paid defender, report Spanish outlet AS.
Mbappe is also reportedly set to join Real on a deal worth £800,000 a week.
And the Spanish giants will not stop there with Carlo Ancelotti also planning to bolster his midfield.
Franck Kessie, who has been linked to Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham, is another free option to provide competition for Casemiro’s place in the side.
Bayern Munich ace Corentin Tolisso has also been targeted amid speculation Spurs were leading the race to sign the midfielder.

Real Madrid have adopted a new strategy in the transfer market, also targeting players set to enter the final year of their contract.
Eden Hazard was the first arrival who ticked that box, arriving for a reduced fee in 2019 because Chelsea risk losing him for nothing the following year.
Eduardo Camavinga also joined last summer for just £26m despite previous club Rennes demanding £45m in 2020.
Real also tried to sign Mbappe in 2021 but have been made to wait for the Frenchman due to Paris Saint-Germain rejecting two bids.
