Sergio Aguero ‘to be offered Man City role’ as legendary striker ‘gets FOUR job offers days after shock retirement’

SERGIO AGUERO will be offered an ambassadorial role at Manchester City, according to reports.

And it is one of FOUR job offers said to be on the table for the legendary Argentine, 33, just days after his emotional retirement.

Sergio Aguero retired from playing earlier this week and is set to be offered FOUR jobs

Aguero broke down in tears as he called time on his playing career having been diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia.

He has agreed to forego the final year of his £100,000-a-week at Barcelona – having joined the Catalans on a free from City in the summer.

But he may not be out of work for long with the Etihad outfit planning to offer him a job as a global ambassador, according to Argentine outlet Ole.

Aguero is a City legend having scored 260 goals in 390 games – including THAT title winning strike against QPR.

And the club are said to believe his iconic status would see him able to engage with fans from across the globe.

It remains unclear whether he will accept the job yet.

But if he doesn’t, there are three other avenues he could go down, according to Spanish outlet Marca.

Two offers are reported to be on their way from his homeland Argentina.

A role on manager Lionel Scaloni’s coaching staff is said to be on the table.

As is a job with one of the national team’s youth sides.

But if he wishes to step away from direct involvement with club and country, a TV pundit gig is also on offer.

Medics detected Aguero’s heart issue during a match against Alaves on October 30.

And speaking on Wednesday at a packed Nou Camp, an emotional Aguero said: “This conference is to communicate that I have decided to stop playing football.

“It is a very difficult moment.

“The decision I have made I have taken for my health, that is the main reason, because of the problem that I had a month-and-a-half ago.

“I was in good hands of the medical staff who have done their best and have told me the best thing would be to stop playing.

“So I made that decision about a week ago and I want to tell everyone I did everything possible to have hope, but there wasn’t very much.”
