SIR ALEX FERGUSON has met up with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and David Gill for lunch.
The three once worked together at Manchester United, back when Solskjaer was a player.
Sir Alex Ferguson was manager during that spell, with Gill acting as chief executive.
Now the trio have been photographed having lunch together ahead of United’s return to Premier League action on Saturday.
Also present at The Ivy in Manchester’s Spinningfields were Red Devils board members and club management, including Ed Woodward.
United technical director Darren Fletcher and club director Mike Edelson were also present.
The meeting follows a squad get together hosted by Solskjaer last month.
David De Gea, Nemanja Matic, Bruno Fernandes were amongst the stars spotted at Cibo restaurant, a favourite of the Norwegian.

Ferguson also enjoyed lunch with another former player this week, Patrice Evra.
The Frenchman was delighted to reunite with his former boss, and even referred to him as ‘The Pope’ on his Instagram post.
Solskjaer may have taken some tips from Fergie during their meeting, and top of the agenda may have been how to best manage Cristiano Ronaldo.
